HP Spectre X360 15" 2017 Unboxing/First Impressions

I haven't seen many unboxings/reviews of HP's new Spectre X360, so I decided to make my own video and later make a written and video review on my website and YouTube. You can see the video below, and stay tuned here on my blog for the review!

An additional note -- I edited and rendered this video entirely on the X360, and I could definitely hear the fans running but it had no issues editing the videos in Adobe Premiere Pro.  The whole laptop was slow as I rendered the video, but that is to be expected on a dual core machine.  Overall though it did really well in my opinion.

Site Update - Squarespace!

You may have noticed that the website is looking... well, more awesome! I recently switched it over to Squarespace from my old Wordpress site.

Feel free to explore around the new and improved site.  It now works flawlessly on mobile devices too.

The store built in to the site is not yet functional but you can still purchase prints at my Square Online Store in the meantime.

Photo Story: Ouray Ice Park & Box Canyon Falls

Photos from the Ouray Ice Park and Box Canyon Falls in Ouray, Colorado on January 28, 2017.

I went on a photo adventure with some of the folks from the Alpine Photography Club earlier today to Ouray.  I had never shot the ice park before and I had only been to Box Canyon Falls in the summer so it was a lot of fun.  One of the largest ice climbing events in the world is held here every year.  This took place the week before, but there were still plenty of climbers to photograph.  Normally I don't post shoots to my blog but I got a bunch of similar photos and thought "why not!" :P

Photos and captions below.

Meal Packing for Haiti - MCC (25 December 2016)

Merry Christmas!! :)
This morning (yes, on Christmas Day) over 250 people met at Montrose Christian Church and packed nearly 40,000 meals to feed more than 120,000 people in Haiti. It was a really special event to help with and photograph.
Below are my four favorite photos. I love the first three because they show the emotion and excitement of helping feed so many people. The final photo is a group picture of most of the amazing people who helped make this project possible!

Website Update - The Shop!

I've been doing a lot of work recently around the website and I've added a new store feature. You'll find several images there to choose from. You're probably curious to know all of the unique printing formats I offer.  Here's the basic rundown:

Metal Prints

Metal prints are my preferred method of displaying photographs.  Metal prints are a stunning and modern way to show off your favorite photo. Images infused into 1/16" aluminum are sharp and vibrant, bringing every detail to life in a new way. All Metal prints come ready-to-hang on the wall via a float mount.

Matted Prints

Matted Prints are professionally printed and mounted on a single white matboard, then attached to a foam core back, making the piece ready to frame.  The Size drop-down box is the size of frame you will need.  However, the inside image dimensions are also listed.

Custom sizes are also available at an additional charge.  Visit the Contact page to ask about sizes and price.

Canvas Prints

Canvas Prints are printed on premium textured canvas and are stretched by hand around a strong wooden frame. These elegant canvas prints are ready to hang.

Print ONLY

Small, medium, and large prints made on professional grade photographic paper.

Custom sizes are also available at an additional charge.  Visit the Contact page to ask about sizes and price.

(NOTE: This is the print ONLY — you will have to find a way to mount it!)

Now what are you waiting for? Head on over to the Store! :)
